Can thoroughly recommend the cottage as a more relaxing and comfortable way to organise a golfing break . The cottage is light and airy and has a great sun trap for evening BBQ’s with fabulous steaks from the local butchers. The golf courses nearby are great and the journey from either Roscoff and especially St Malo is easy. We played the local 9 hole La Corbinnais on the afternoon we arrived which is literally round the corner. It is deceptively difficult, even on the second time round. The course at Sable D’Or les Pins on the coast is lovely and well worth the trip. Dinard and St Malo courses offer top quality options nearby as well.   Looking forward to the next trip!!   Cheers AP.

Just to say thank you for a lovely week in Les Hottieux, the renovation is fantastic and is by far the best French property we have  stayed in. The decoration and  finish is perfect, the rooms are so much bigger than we imagined and  the outside space was wonderful, enabling us to enjoy the hot weather and to make friends with Marie( who was very patient with both our very rusty French and our son Thomas ) and Didier,  who was lovely!
We frequented the cafe in the village on a few occasions and found the hosts very friendly, as was everyone we met in the village. We all think you are very lucky to own a property in such a perfect location. Please feel free to pass our recommendations on to others  and look forward to staying at Les Hottieux again. We hope your first year renting it out is as successful as you deserve.

Thanks again, Andrew and Andra

Thank you for a wonderful week in this beautiful cottage. We really couldn't find anything to complain about & found the set up to be perfect for young children being open plan & therefore feeling very safe.

This is a lovely area. We particularly enjoyed eating crepes & visiting the market in Dinan. We found St Cast de Guido to be the perfect beach for toddlers, good parking, safe & sheltered with shallow waters. Very clean & not too overcrowded.

We found this an ideal location to explore Brittany & hope to visit again soon.

We had a good stay in this lovely cottage which was very homely. It was well equipped, we even used the barbeque. St Cast - fantastic. The beaches were wonderful. The kids had loads of fun. St Cast centre is worth a visit - sit down and have a cuppa/a beer while kids play in the park. Good for retail therapy We will definitely  visit this area again. LH & B

Just a quick line to say thank you for a marvellous holiday. Les Hottieux proved to be a perfect location. Quiet and remote enough to ensure a traditional and relaxed French feel, but at the same time near to everything we wanted.

The bedrooms were very generously proportioned but the best bit was the main living accommodation.

The local golf course was very acceptable and a welcoming place. In fact, I would rather play there than many so say, better courses. It was relaxed, local and cheap, but at the same time the green and fairways were good.

The day we spent at Caste de la Guido was super. The ability to hire catamarans, as well as the shallow, warm  water and the crabbing when the tide went out, made it a complete beach for us. It was a close choice between this and the trip to Cap Friel for our favourite day and we recommend both to your future visitors.

Sorry I have been meaning to get back to you, but things have been a little hectic.

The cottage was fantastic and we had an amazing time.  I loved the area and the great places to see, I didn't want to come home. We would really like to go again next year.

We all had a chat and decided on the following feedback:
Please note that since Nicky's visit we have purchased a mobile shower chair for disabled use.
The wet room was beautifully thought out, the only thing I feel you may need is a shower chair, for those who are unable to stand and are confined to their wheelchairs.
The disabled access was good with plenty of space once inside.

Best wishes

Nicky

Hi Sue and Philip.
Just a quick note to say a big thanks for letting us share your lovely home in St Michel de Plelan. We had a really wonderful time from the crossing to the location and the fabulous eating places within the area. We forgot how well we new the area as we have stayed about 5mls south of Lamballe in the past. Once again big thanks to you both. We shall go again if you allow,

Carole and Charles
